Memberships in Clubs4-H ClubI was the secretary for the Woodland Multiple 4-H club. I had to run meetings, be organized, and keep an agenda of the meeting. I practiced management skills by keeping the meetings on time, and always being well-prepared for meetings.
4-H took lots of my time. I had to go to meetings every week, keep a record book, and also do hands-on activities. These all took a lot of time and effort. In 4-H we had to write speeches and compete against others. I always put a lot of time into my speeches and in 2009 I got an award for my speech. (Cardinal, J., personal Communication. 2013)
